    Remote Learning

If children test positive for COVID-19, parents have to inform school via Dojo or by telephone, in line with TEAM Education Trust's updated COVID-19 Risk Assessment.

Following discussion between class teachers and parents or the School Business Officer, parents are asked to assess whether their children are fit enough to receive work. Should parents think this is appropriate, teachers will send parents work home for the children to complete each day. This aligns with the work being set in class and there is parity in terms of expectations. Should a child not be well enough to work, school will respect this, but recommend that if a child starts to feel better, they read and access their online learning apps and contact school so that additional work (reflecting the learning happening in class) can be sent home.

Each week, the school reports all pupil cases to TEAM Education Trust. School is held to account for whether children have been offered work and whether this has been taken up. Levels of engagement are carefully tracked as the Trust insist on high levels of engagement where children are well enough to work.

In the event that school closes due to adverse weather, work will be posted onto Dojo at 9.00am promptly. Teachers will communicate throughout the day via this forum. Work can be shared with staff with feedback given to pupils via this system.

Should you have any queries around this, please contact the school to discuss.
